Good, now that I have your attention, here's some shameless plugging:

I highly recommend following me on Twitter [link] . Why? Because over the next few days I'll be updating feverishly about Comic con while it's happening~ Don't have a twitter? Shame on you, get one so you can be on the 'cutting edge' of cooldom from the internet, or something like that.

Also, while I'm there, I'll have full, in depth stuff and pictures, as always, on my blog [link] that will remain un-locked for the next month.

Finally, I've signed up to do some coverage over at Spoiler TV [link] under the comic-con and 'live LOST' links. There will be greatness to be had.

That's all for now.

Maybe you've forgotten that I exist, seeing as I haven't submitted anything in the longest time. You see, I haven't drawn much for myself in the past months, I didn't even start drawing for myself until my friend told me to. It doesn't help that I have work as well. I've been taking a figure drawing class, which is were all my art has been directed to, and I can't exactly submit what I've been drawing, since it's a little inappropriate, and I don't think you want to see an old naked man or over-sized woman (my models for the class are very limited...). Besides, it's not very consistent with the rest of my art since it literally looks like it came from an American comic book.

I did, however, do a few things in my sketchbook (as homework) that I might scan in when the semester is over in a few weeks. I did a portrait of Zachary Quinto (who plays Sylar on Heroes), and a few renditions of Hosts. I only have this week and next week of school left, then two days of finals, and my month long break will begin~

Comic con Day 0 & 1

Copied from my LJ:

Posting from CC: Thursday Report

Today. Was. Awesome.

So, it was the first official day of comic con, but I actually went on day: 0. Preview night was JUST AS BAD AS A REGULAR NIGHT...IF NOT WORSE. Okay no more caps locking...anyway, I went to the Jun Planning booth first, and took a gander at the beautiful Hello Kitty pullip that they had on display. Unfortunatly, they were only selling Rozen Maidens, all the mini pullips, and a few others (Today I bought Suigintou). They had a cute Chewbacca backpack at a Star Wars booth and I got that also..I bought a pinky and a gloomy keychain..that's all I bought so far. I was going to go to the panel that J.J. Abrams was supposed to be at, but the line was waaayyyy too long, and an Elite said that only half of the line would even get in. I was wearing lolita..with my putomayo skirt, and I got asked to have my picture taken four times =w= I suppose it will be worse tommorrow when I wear Baby.

Anyways, to the good part. Around 2 I got in line for the Lost Panel, no way was I going to miss that. It was a three hour wait, but a good three hour wait because of what happened. I saw Jay and Jack casually from [link] .. Jay is so cute *o* his hair is so nice, but I was afraid to go talk to him, thinking I would sound like a nerd for being a fan of his podcast. They let us in at about 3:30, and my dad and I sprinted beyond the place were normal people were filing in, and we got front row seats. Maybe you don't know the audacity of it, but the place held about 20,000 people, with people standing wayyyyyyy in the back and I was in the front. It felt like that commercial for car insurance, where the two guys find out they had front row seats at the baseball game, and a whole buch of good stuff happened to them. That's what happened to me. I figured out that the guy next to me was a writer for [link] and he was updating as it was going on. So cool *o*~~ ..we saw the producers casually appearing at a door on the left, and I got some early pictures hehe. A little bit before it started a crew from [link] came to our row and asked if we were big Lost fans. The guy from the tailsection next to me got interviewed first, and then he and my dad pressured me into getting interviewed too. I was really nervous though...there was a big light from the camera D: blinding. Then the panel started, and about half way through Harold Perrineau(28 weeks later, Michael on Lost) showed up~ So exciting, since he was missing for an entire season and I like his work. At the end, they showed us a special clip as an -exclusive-, that people at only comic con would be able to see. It was soooo awesome *3* It made me so happy, especially since at the last panel, we sat about half-way back.

That pretty much wraps it up for today. I'll have pictures(and a video) when I get back home on Sunday.

Thankyou for 100000 hits
